1800wheelchair.co.uk offers free shipping in mainland UK on most orders (except for items under £40 shipped by manufacturer). Most products VAT exempt for the personal use of persons who are elderly or with long term illness or disability.

Shipping Locations
1-800-Wheelchair UK ships anywhere in the UK including England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and all BFPO addresses via either First Class post, Millbrook Healthcare or DHL Express. It's not possible to choose exactly which carrier we use for your order.
For orders outside the UK please submit your order and we will email to you the exact shipping cost, or call us at 0800 051 0011. You will not be charged until you agree to the shipping charge and method.

Shipping Rates
We currently offer free shipping in mainland UK on most orders (except for items under £40 shipped by manufacturer). Product will indicate shipping cost or "free shipping".

Delivery Time
All orders except for customised Wheelchairs, mobility Scooters, Lift Chairs and Lifts ship within 2 business days. Orders typically take 5-7 business days to reach the customer.

Motorized Wheelchairs,Lift Chairs and Electric Scooters take 5-10 business days. Custom motorized wheelchairs and scooters (extra wide, etc.) may take up to 3 weeks.

If you need you order in a shorter period of time please contact our customer service at 0800 051 0011. Extra charges may apply.

In the event that your order cannot go out in the above mentioned time. You will be contacted immediately with the reason for the delay. You can either cancel the order or wait for shipment. In the event that we cannot reach you to make a delivery we will reattempt to deliver for up to one week at which time we will return the order and charge you a 10% restocking fee.

VAT Exemption
Most of our products are VAT exempt for the personal use of elderly and long term disabled persons and and as such we do not include VAT in our quoted prices. As a recognised supplier we are able to supply a simple online form qualification, no Doctors letters or other such documentation is necessary. To claim VAT exemption on a purchase simply check the VAT exemtion box in the payment detail screen and enter the reason in the text box. You may purchase on behalf of another person (mother, father etc) but this must be stated in the box, i.e. purchased on behalf of............who has......etc.

Payment
Goods must be paid in full prior to despatch. Place your order online by using our secure encrypted shopping basket and simply pay with any leading Visa MasterCard or debit card.

Alternatively you can ring one of our expert advisors at 0800 051 0011 and arrange to pay in the same way or by cheque, whichever suits you best.

14 day Return Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases and offer a 14 day customer satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the product, we accept returns under the following circumstances:
  • Product is unused, clean and not damaged (unless damaged during delivery)
  • Must have original packaging and materials, i.e fit for resale.
  • Unless the product shipped was different then the one ordered, or you received a damaged order, you will be responsible for paying return shipping costs.

Restocking Fees:
There are no restocking fees except for all Motorized Wheelchair, Electric Scooters, Lift Chairs and Wheelchair Cushions, which have a 10% restocking fee

No Returns:
Hospital beds and "prescriptive" or special order products such as Ultra lightweight and Heavy duty Wheelchairs cannot be returned.  All Bath Safety products, toilet seats etc are non-returnable due to hygiene issues.

If you decide that you would like to return or exchange a product you will need to obtain a Return Authorization Number. The customer is responsible for the return shipment unless the product is damaged. Please call our customer service Representative at 0800 051 0011. PLEASE DO NOT RETURN AN ITEM WITHOUT A RA NUMBER or return direct to manufacturer.

For returns, refunds are credited after receipt of the product.

Cancellations
We work hard to see that our products ship quickly.  If you cancel your order after it has already shipped we consider it a return and the above policies apply.
