1-800-Wheelchair UK ships anywhere on the UK Mainland - England, Scotland and Wales via either First Class post or various Carrier services.
Shipping Rates
Product information page will indicate the individual shipping charge for each product, this charge is inclusive of VAT even if the product is for a VAT exempt person.
Delivery Time
All orders except for customised Wheelchairs, mobility Scooters, Lift Chairs and Lifts ship within 5 business days. Orders typically take 7-10 business days to reach the customer.
Motorized Wheelchairs,Lift Chairs and Electric Scooters take 10-15 business days. Custom motorized wheelchairs and scooters (extra wide, etc.) may take up to 4 weeks.
If you need you order in a shorter period of time please contact our customer service at 0844 888 1337. Extra charges may apply.
In the event that your order cannot go out in the above mentioned time. You will be contacted immediately with the reason for the delay. You can either cancel the order or wait for shipment.
In the event that we cannot reach you to make a delivery we will reattempt to deliver for up to one week at which time we will return the order and charge you a 10% restocking fee.
VAT Exemption
Most of our products are VAT exempt for the personal use of elderly and long term disabled persons and and as such we do not include VAT in our quoted prices. As a recognised supplier we are able to supply a simple online form qualification, no Doctors letters or other such documentation is necessary.
To claim VAT exemption on a purchase simply check the VAT exemtion box in the payment detail screen and enter the reason in the text box.
You may purchase on behalf of another person (mother, father etc) but this must be stated in the box, i.e. purchased on behalf of............who has......etc.

Payment
Goods must be paid in full prior to despatch.
Place your order online by using our secure encrypted shopping basket and simply pay with any leading Visa MasterCard or debit card.
Alternatively you can ring one of our expert advisors at 0844 888 1337 and arrange to pay in the same way or by cheque, whichever suits you best.
14 day Return Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases and offer a 14 day customer satisfaction guarantee.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with the product, we accept returns under the following circumstances:
Restocking Fees:
There are no restocking fees except for all Motorized Wheelchair, Electric Scooters, Lift Chairs and Wheelchair Cushions, which have a 10% restocking fee
No Returns:
Hospital beds and "prescriptive" or special order products such as Ultra lightweight and Heavy
duty Wheelchairs cannot be returned. All Bath Safety products, toilet seats etc are non-returnable due to hygiene
issues.
If you decide that you would like to return or exchange a product you will need to obtain a Return Authorization Number.
The customer is responsible for the return shipment unless the product is
damaged. Please call our customer service
Representative at 0844 888 1337. PLEASE DO NOT RETURN AN ITEM WITHOUT A RA NUMBER or return direct to manufacturer.
For returns, refunds are credited after receipt of the product.
Cancellations
We work hard to see that our products ship quickly. If you cancel your
order after it has already shipped we consider it a return and the above
policies apply.
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations
The UK's Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations came into force in July 2007; this legislation encourages business and consumers to arrange collection and recycling of household electrical appliances.
Electronic waste is one of the fastest growing waste streams increasing by 5% per year. Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.
To fulfil our obligations as a retailer, Youreable is offering a take back service of old WEEE when you purchase an equivalent item from us. The old WEEE must be returned to us within 28 days of purchase of your new item and at your cost.

Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should be marked with the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol to show that the product should be disposed of separately from the normal household waste and can be recycled.
